Our Vision

A church that exists for the glory of God and the transformation of Chaddesden in Jesus’ name!

About Us

St Philip’s is beginning a new season and we are excited to be going on this adventure together. Our heart is for the glory of God and the transformation of Chaddesden in Jesus’ name. We want to honour the past and all that has happened over the last 70 years and look to the future with expectation and hope.

We’re part of the HTB Network—a growing family of churches committed to the evangelisation of the nation, the revitalisation of the Church and the transformation of society.

As we follow Jesus together, we want everyone to encounter him, find a place to belong and learn to live his way in everyday life.

Living Out Our Vision…

- Prayerful

We want dependent and expectant prayer to be at the heart of all we do.

- Missional

We want to be outward looking and to keep the 16,500 people in our part of Derby at the forefront of our minds.

- Supernatural

We will refuse to operate on a merely human level but will seek the Holy Spirit for the miraculous.

- Gracious

We will relate to one another with love, kindness and generosity, reflecting the gospel of God’s grace.

We are a local church in a local community, part of the Werb’s Network in Derby.
